On 5 March 2020 the Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship hosted the Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to Poland, His Excellency Feliciano dos Santosa. The Ambassador has not been performing his function in Poland for long – he submitted his credentials in the beginning of January this year replacing the long-serving ambassador Domingos Culolo, who retired last year after having served for 8 years in Poland.
Ambassador dos Santos expressed his hope that soon it will be possible to establish contacts between the entrepreneurs from our region interested in investing in Angola with the Angolan companies. Marshal Stawiarski assured that he will do his best to analyse the possibilities of such cooperation in the light of the increasing potential of both our region and potential partners. During the meeting the ambassador and the marshal paid attention to some history elements common for both Poland and Angola, such as a hard way to gain independence.
