The Working Team of the SHAKER project is about to start

On October 15 the first local meeting of the partners of the project „Supporting attractiveness of health and social care professions in regions” (ERASMUS +) took place. It was attended by employees of the Marshal Office of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, representing the Department of Culture, Education and National Heritage, the Department of Health and Social Policy, the Marshal’s Chancellery, and representatives of the Post-Secondary School – the S. Liebhart Medical Vocational College in Lublin, as well as the College of Social Workers in Lublin.

The purpose of the meeting was to present the goals, activities and assumptions of the SHAKER project, the implementation of which began on October 1 this year. In addition, the meeting was to build a working team that will jointly implement the project for the next two and a half years.

SHAKER is an international initiative in the field of vocational education, health and social care. The project is financed by the ERASMUS + program, and its partners are the Moravian-Silesian Region in the Czech Republic (coordinator), the Great Eastern Region (France), the Gelderland Province (Netherlands) and the Lubelskie Voivodeship. Additionally, two vocational schools from the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Poland take part in the project: the Foundation of the Regional Training Centre Rivor in Tiel, Stichting BVE Oost-Gelderland in Doetinchem, Stredni zdravotnicka skola a Vyssi odborna skola zdravotnicka from Ostrava, Stredni skola prof. Zdenek Matejcka from Ostrava-Poruba, the College of Social Workers in Lublin and the Post-Secondary School – – the S. Liebhart Medical Vocational College in Lublin.
